The city campus of Suffolk University presents many unique challenges as the college’s student population continues to grow. Renovation and expansion often occurs vertically, within existing university buildings or office buildings acquired by Suffolk.

KBA was commissioned to perform extensive renovations to three building housing Suffolk’s College of Arts & Sciences. The Archer, Fenton and Donahue buildings were classic examples of “downtown” architecture to be converted and updated for classroom use. Our work included new, data-compatible classrooms, entrance and lobby areas, administrative space and building system upgrades.
