PROCTOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Topsfield, MA
The
expansion and modernization of this historic structure
situated on the Topsfield Town Common was a challenging
project
that became a rewarding experience.
Our task was to maintain the character of
this classic Georgian structure, while creating new and
exciting spaces for the growing student population.
New library facilities, computer laboratories
and a media center were designed as a focal point and
hub of the enhanced school environment. Upgraded classrooms,
music spaces, gymnasium and science facilities satisfied
the newly identified educational program requirements.
Our use of natural lighting, air conditioning,
and barrier-free design enhanced a vital historical building
and created new life for a cherished community landmark.
